The Embroidery House Inc/Harwood's Staff
The Embroidery House is grateful to each of our dedicated and capable staff members. Their daily contributions of skill and enthusiasm make our company successful!
Kurt Vander Loon
Kurt Vander Loon, with over 20 years experience, enjoys seeing companies like ours, both bigger or smaller, grow through the years. Kurt particularly takes pleasure in assisting them with marketing efforts that make a difference.
Kurt is grateful the Embroidery House has been blessed as a company. His father Henry Vander Loon started the business in 1978 because he lost his job but, little did he know, that he would start a legacy for his family. Over the years since its beginning, it has grown from a small home business as Vander Loon Sales to Sports Time, to Embroidery House, to the current The Embroidery House - Harwood Printing and Advertising Inc.
Through phases of buying and selling companies, merging, and other changes, what has come out of it all is now a company that serves its customers as a full-service provider, partnering with other businesses to promote their growth and development.
Ben Van Kammen
General Account Executive/Office Manager
Ben Van Kammen is one of the sales associates at the Embroidery House. He will be celebrating his 11th year with the company.
Before coming to The Embroidery House, Ben had been in the printing industry for most of his career. When The Embroidery House purchased Harwood's Printing a few years back, it was a chance for him to get back into printing. With his personal experience in the industry, it has been a great opportunity to move the company forward into this area. We can now offer this service not only to our current clients, but can offer this to our new clients as well. Along with embroidery, screen printing, and promotional products we can be your one source for ALL your business needs.
Ben and his wife are natives to the West Michigan area. They have been married for 23 years and have been blessed with two great young sons. They worship regularly at First Byron Center CRC and are very active in their church.
